Climate Minister Briefs PM on Diplomatic Visit Outcomes and Green Initiativ

- Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting today in Islamabad with Federal Minister for Climate Change, Dr. Musadik Masood Malik. During the meeting, Dr. Malik briefed the Prime Minister on the recent engagements of a Pakistani diplomatic delegation during its international visits.Dr. Malik informed the Prime Minister about the delegation’s efforts to highlight India’s recent unprovoked military and water-related hostilities. The delegation’s meetings in the United States and Europe were aimed at drawing global attention to these issues and rallying diplomatic support for Pakistan’s stance.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded the efforts of the delegation, particularly Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, for effectively raising Pakistan’s concerns at the international level. He commended the team for their successful diplomatic outreach and for courageously presenting the facts regarding India’s aggressive behavior.
The two leaders also discussed the government’s environmental agenda. Dr. Malik updated the Prime Minister on recent initiatives undertaken by the Ministry of Climate Change to mitigate the adverse impacts of climate change across Pakistan. The Prime Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental resilience.
