FBISE Matric Results 2025 Announced With Top Positions

**Federal Board Announces Matriculation Exam Results, Female Students Dominate Top Positions**

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad has announced the results for the 2025 annual examinations for classes 9 and 10, revealing a notable performance by students, particularly females, across the board. According to the results, 62.18% of students passed the grade 9 exams, while the pass percentage for grade 10 stood at an impressive 88.51%.

In the science group, Maryam Nadeem from Army Public School, Safe Road Rawalpindi secured first position with 1,093 marks. The second highest scorer was Amna Nasir of Lahore Grammar School, The Mall in Wah Cantt, who obtained 1,087 marks. Third position was shared by Alisha Saqib from Amlah Foundation School & College, Misryal Road Rawalpindi, and Fatima Wajid from Army Public School & College for Girls, Attock, each scoring 1,083 marks.

In the humanities group, Sana Bibi from Shining Star Public School, Allama Iqbal Colony, Rawalpindi Cantt clinched the top spot with 1,045 marks. Abdul Rehman of Institute of Islamic Science, Satra Meel Islamabad secured the second position with 1,029 marks, while Muhammad Sufyan Ahmed, also from Institute of Islamic Science, Satra Meel Islamabad, achieved third position with 1,022 marks.

Speaking at the result announcement ceremony, FBISE Chairman Dr. Ikram Ali Malik briefed the chief guest, Federal Minister for Education Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, on the examination system and extended congratulations to all top-performing students.

In his address, Federal Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui emphasized the significant achievements of Pakistani students worldwide and congratulated all successful candidates. He highlighted the need to focus on the youth population, drawing comparisons with China’s approach to turning its population into a national strength. He stressed the importance of equipping students with practical skills to meet current and future needs, noting that Pakistan’s 180 million young people are sufficient to address the country’s requirements.

Dr. Siddiqui underlined that the next 10 to 15 years will be crucial as the world is poised for substantial changes. He also pointed out that, as seen in the current results, female students continue to outperform their male counterparts and called on society to provide greater acceptance and opportunities for these accomplished young women.

The results announcement marks another year of academic excellence for Pakistani students and highlights the growing contribution of female students to the country’s educational achievements.
