Pakistan Navy and Mari Energies Head Into CNS Final

The semi-finals of the 4th Chief of the Naval Staff All-Pakistan Hockey Championship 2025 at the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore produced decisive results as Pakistan Navy and Mari Energies booked their places in the final.

Pakistan Navy produced a commanding 4-0 victory over Pakistan Air Force, with goals from Waleed, Hanan Shahid (two) and Waseem. Hanan Shahid was named man of the match for his outstanding performance and clinical finishing that kept Pakistan Navy dominant throughout the contest.

The second semi-final between Customs and Mari Energies finished 1-1 in regulation time as Customs’ Abdul Qayyum opened the scoring before Sufyan Khan levelled for Mari Energies. The tie went to a penalty shootout where Mari Energies prevailed 4-3. Mari converted four penalties — Ahmed Nadeem scored twice while Umer Mustafa and Arshad Liaqat added the others — while Customs found the net from Rana Sohail, Arbaz and Hamza Fayyaz. Goalkeeper Abdullah Ishtiaq was named man of the match for crucial saves and calm under pressure.

The CNS final between Pakistan Navy and Mari Energies is scheduled for Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 1500 hours at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore. The Chief of the Naval Staff will attend as the chief guest and present awards to the finalists, and the CNS final promises a competitive finish to the championship with both sides looking to claim the title.
