RWU Milad Brings Students Together in Prayer

The Character Building Society at RWU, in partnership with the Department of Student Affairs, organized a soulful Mehfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi to mark the blessed birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The event was attended by Member Provincial Assembly Tahira Mushtaq and the wife of Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Inayatullah Khan.

The program opened with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by heartfelt naats and Darood Sharif performed by students under the guidance of Lecturer in Business Administration Ms. Javeria Tariq. Student presentations combined reverence and disciplined delivery, reflecting the event’s focus on character building and spiritual reflection.

Lecturer of Islamic Studies Ms. Saima Bashir highlighted the Seerat-un-Nabi and underscored the Prophet’s message of brotherhood, urging students to align personal and communal life with those teachings. Her remarks emphasized practical steps students can take to embody the values discussed during the RWU Milad.

The milad concluded with a sincere prayer for the progress of Pakistan and for the unity and well-being of the Muslim Ummah. The gathering reinforced RWU’s commitment to moral development and campus harmony while providing students an occasion for collective devotion and reflection.
