During the visit Oana \u021aoiu outlined the commercial opportunities Romania offers to Pakistani businesses, emphasizing Romania\u2019s potential role as a strategic gateway to the European Union. She highlighted Romania\u2019s competitive costs, skilled labor force and investment-friendly environment as attractive features for Pakistani investors seeking access to EU markets.<\/p>\n
Discussions with FPCCI leaders and members were constructive and forward-looking, centering on moving beyond a traditional buyer\u2013seller relationship toward deeper industrial collaboration. Delegates identified areas with immediate potential for expansion, including automotive, agriculture, information technology, textiles and healthcare, as well as manufacturing, energy and food processing.<\/p>\n
FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh described Romania as one of Pakistan\u2019s most reliable trading partners in Europe and offered recommendations to elevate bilateral commerce. Both sides agreed that current trade volumes fall short of the countries\u2019 combined potential and that there is considerable room for growth.<\/p>\n
Participants pointed to concrete avenues for cooperation in energy, IT and agriculture, among other fields, and emphasized the importance of joint ventures and co-investment to build sustainable industrial links.
