Officials outlined timelines and priorities for these developments and discussed how they will support export growth and attract fresh investment.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Khan stressed that PIDC remains the backbone of Pakistan\u2019s industrial structure and will play a central role in translating the new industrial policy into concrete outcomes. He cited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif\u2019s vision for a resilient manufacturing sector and said the Karachi Industrial Park is a strategic asset that will broaden export capacity and deepen the industrial ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Under the new industrial policy, greater facilitation will be extended to local industries and PIDC\u2019s coordination will be essential for effective implementation. The Special Assistant reaffirmed the government\u2019s commitment to industrial reforms, transparency and modern infrastructure while underscoring that efficiency and accountability in PIDC projects are top priorities.
