He said that the senator\u2019s arrival is expected to enhance the performance of the upper house and bring valuable perspective to the legislative process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abid Sher Ali<\/strong> expressed appreciation for the leadership shown by Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani and welcomed recent steps to improve Senate functioning.
