That long-standing partnership underpins technical support, institutional capacity building and joint efforts aimed at protecting communities across the country.<\/p>\n<p>During Prime Minister <strong>Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif<\/strong>&#8216;s visit to the United Nations in Vienna, UNODC Acting Executive Director <strong>John Brandolino<\/strong> signed a new agreement to expand cooperation between UNODC and Pakistan. The accord is intended to broaden support for criminal justice reforms and deepen joint action on countering narcotics and transnational crime.<\/p>\n<p>At a high-level event following the signing, leaders highlighted that strong institutions and respect for the rule of law are essential for peace, security and long-term prosperity.
