MARDAN: Women University Mardan (WUM) and Sarhad University of Science & Information Technology (SUIT), Peshawar, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic cooperation, research, innovation and institutional collaboration.<\/p>\n
The MoU was signed on July 20, 2026, by Prof Dr Razia Sultana, Vice Chancellor of Women University Mardan, and Prof Dr Salim Ur Rehman, Vice Chancellor of Sarhad University of Science & Information Technology.<\/p>\n
The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Ms Haleema Ikram, Director ORIC at Women University Mardan, and Mr Ali Akhtar Shinwari, Director Admissions at SUIT.<\/p>\n
Under the agreement, the two institutions will collaborate in student and faculty exchange programmes, joint research, academic conferences, seminars, workshops, innovation, entrepreneurship, internships, capacity-building initiatives and knowledge sharing through the Offices of Research, Innovation and Commercialisation (ORICs) of both universities.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Razia Sultana and Prof Dr Salim Ur Rehman reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening academic partnerships and creating greater opportunities for students and faculty members.<\/p>\n
Ms Haleema Ikram said the MoU reflected Women University Mardan\u2019s commitment to promoting research, innovation and strategic institutional collaboration.<\/p>\n
