ISLAMABAD: The Motorway Police recovered a misplaced purse containing jewellery and a mobile phone worth a total of Rs1.9 million and returned it to its owner, setting another example of honesty and duty.<\/p>\n
According to the report, a family travelling from Islamabad to Quetta informed the Motorway Police that their purse had gone missing near Daud Khel on the M-14 motorway.<\/p>\n
The family said the purse had been mistakenly thrown outside by children. It contained jewellery valued at Rs1.7 million and a mobile phone worth Rs200,000.<\/p>\n
After receiving the information, the Motorway Police immediately alerted all relevant patrolling mobiles. Following an effective search, the missing purse was safely recovered and handed over to the affected family.<\/p>\n
