ISLAMABAD: The May Day Foundation has partnered with Virtual City School Islamabad to start an education initiative aimed at underprivileged and differently-abled out-of-school children in rural areas of Pakistan.<\/p>\n
The launching ceremony was hosted by Virtual City School Islamabad, where Mr Haziq, CEO of Virtual City School, welcomed the participants and dignitaries. Mr Shawaz, CEO of May Day Foundation, attended the event as chief guest.<\/p>\n
The speakers at the ceremony included Mr Shawaz, CEO of May Day Foundation; Mr Ahmed Mohyuddin, Additional Inspector General of Police; Mr Haziq, CEO of Graphite\/Virtual School; Mr Almass Ayoub Sabir, Chairman of AIMS Education System; Dr Hafeez Iqbal Suleri, IT expert; Mr Zeeshan Khan, DG HEC; and Professor Aman Ullah Khan of Islamic University.<\/p>\n
The speakers appreciated the initiative and assured their full support for efforts to extend quality education to marginalised communities in rural Pakistan.<\/p>\n
A key feature of the event was the motivational keynote address by Mr Shawaz. He underlined the urgent need to provide quality education to underprivileged children in rural areas and praised the vision and work of Mr Haziq and the Virtual City School team for using digital platforms to make education more accessible.<\/p>\n
Mr Imtiaz Baloch, father of Mr Shawaz, also attended the ceremony.<\/p>\n
The event concluded with intellectual and impactful speeches, followed by a souvenir presentation. Virtual City School presented shields, caps, cups, pens and other mementos to the guest speakers and team members as a token of appreciation.<\/p>\n
