Islamabad: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan and the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to integrate HEC\u2019s degree verification system with PSEB\u2019s upcoming national digital workforce platform.<\/p>\n
The initiative is aimed at enabling digital verification of academic credentials, strengthening linkages between academia and industry, and improving employability prospects for graduates.<\/p>\n
HEC Chairman Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar and PSEB Chief Executive Officer Faisal Jeddy attended the MoU signing ceremony, along with senior officials from both organisations.<\/p>\n
According to the announcement, the integration will allow digital degree verification and provide authenticated academic credentials of students and professionals. It is also expected to improve transparency, credibility and trust in digital workforce and talent development initiatives.<\/p>\n
The platform will create Pakistan\u2019s first national verified digital talent repository, carrying authenticated digital profiles of students and IT professionals.<\/p>\n
Through this repository, employers in Pakistan and abroad will be able to access a trusted and verified talent pool. The initiative is expected to support talent matchmaking, recruitment and global employment opportunities for Pakistan\u2019s digital workforce.<\/p>\n
