The historic relationship between Iran and Pakistan has endured the test of time, drawing strength from centuries of shared history, civilisation, faith and culture.<\/p>\n
The bond between the two brotherly neighbours is marked by important milestones. Iran was the first country to recognise Pakistan, while Pakistan was the first country to recognise the Islamic Republic of Iran. These gestures continue to reflect the exceptional character of ties that have now entered a new and unique phase.<\/p>\n
Over the past two years, relations between the two countries have witnessed remarkable strengthening across different levels. Parliamentary representatives from Iran and Pakistan, speaking as the voices of their nations, have repeatedly expressed support and solidarity with each other.<\/p>\n
This spirit was visible on the first day of the aggression of the Israeli regime, when members of Pakistan\u2019s parliament passed a resolution in support of Iran. In Tehran, members of the Iranian Parliament chanted \u201cPakistan Tashakur\u201d in the presence of the President, while the people of Iran echoed the same sentiment in the streets, waving the flags of Iran and Pakistan together.<\/p>\n
The importance of this partnership was also highlighted in the first Nowruz message of Iran\u2019s new Supreme Leader, who referred to the significance of relations with Pakistan.<\/p>\n
High-level exchanges have further underlined the depth of friendship, brotherhood and mutual support between the two countries. These include two visits by President Masoud Pezeshkian to Pakistan, several visits by the Honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan to Iran, multiple visits by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI(M), HJ, COAS & CDF, and many other exchanges between senior officials.<\/p>\n
In June 2026, President Pezeshkian paid a memorable visit to Islamabad to convey the heartfelt gratitude of the Government and people of Iran to the Government and people of Pakistan. Similarly, the Pakistani delegation that attended the ceremony to pay tribute to the Martyred Supreme Leader of Iran participated at the highest level, with the largest-ever delegation of senior dignitaries, reflecting solidarity and mutual respect.<\/p>\n
By the grace of Almighty Allah, the brotherly relations between Iran and Pakistan have reached a level where no challenge, phenomenon or external factor can weaken the love, friendship and brotherhood between the two nations.<\/p>\n
The stature of these ties stands as high as the majestic peaks of Damavand and K2. The friendship between Iran and Pakistan is seen as a model of mutual respect, sincere brotherhood, good neighbourliness and the spirit of \u201cWe Can Do It\u201d for the wider region.<\/p>\n
