KARACHI: Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia\u2019s new national carrier, has opened public ticket sales for its new Pakistan services, expanding its Asian network with direct flights linking Riyadh with Islamabad and Lahore.<\/p>\n
According to the airline, daily services between Riyadh and Islamabad will begin on August 14, 2026, while flights between Riyadh and Lahore will start on August 18, 2026, operating three times a week. The bookings are now available for travel on the carrier\u2019s new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.<\/p>\n
The airline said the new connections are aimed at serving the growing traffic between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and supporting the longstanding cultural and economic ties between the two countries. Riyadh Air said the routes also fit into its broader plan to connect major global hubs while offering an improved travel and logistics experience.<\/p>\n
For Islamabad, Riyadh Air will operate daily flights between King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh, and Islamabad International Airport. Flight RX0659 will depart Riyadh at 13:45 four times a week on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, arriving in Islamabad at 20:00. The return flight, RX0660, will leave Islamabad at 21:30 on the same days and arrive in Riyadh at 00:00 the next day.<\/p>\n
A second Islamabad service, RX0661, will depart Riyadh at 20:10 three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, arriving in Islamabad at 02:25 the next day. Its return service, RX0662, will depart Islamabad at 04:25 and reach Riyadh at 06:50.<\/p>\n
For Lahore, flight RX0675 will operate from Riyadh to Allama Iqbal International Airport three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It will depart Riyadh at 13:40 and arrive in Lahore at 19:50. The return flight, RX0676, will leave Lahore at 21:20 and arrive in Riyadh at 00:00 the next day. All timings are local.<\/p>\n
The airline said the Islamabad and Lahore services form an important part of its expanding footprint across Asia and will create additional openings for international travel and commerce. The routes have been planned to provide onward connectivity to Europe and the Middle East for business and leisure passengers from Pakistan.<\/p>\n
Riyadh Air said the Pakistan launch will also serve the sizeable Pakistani expatriate community in Saudi Arabia and help meet demand for business, work and family travel.<\/p>\n
As Saudi Arabia\u2019s capital and commercial centre, Riyadh offers Pakistani travellers access to business opportunities, modern attractions, entertainment and a growing economic landscape. The airline said the services will also strengthen Riyadh\u2019s position as a transport hub by offering passengers from Islamabad and Lahore convenient connections to key domestic and European destinations.<\/p>\n
The new routes will be served by Riyadh Air\u2019s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, featuring the airline\u2019s latest cabin interiors and onboard product. The aircraft will offer Business Elite, Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins.<\/p>\n
Passengers will have access to ergonomic seating, enhanced privacy and storage, advanced inflight entertainment through Panasonic Avionics\u2019 Astrova system, mobile-first connectivity, wireless listening, elevated dining, Saudi-made Kayanee amenities, bespoke Disney kits for children and a five-sense wellness programme designed to help travellers arrive refreshed.<\/p>\n
Riyadh Air also said passengers can join Sfeer, its loyalty programme, to access exclusive benefits. The name comes from the Arabic word for Ambassador and the English word sphere, reflecting Saudi Arabia\u2019s hospitality and the idea of a global community of travellers.<\/p>\n
Sfeer members will receive a Best Offer Guarantee, no points expiry and complimentary onboard Wi-Fi. Early members will join The Founders club, which offers priority access to bookings on new routes and other benefits.<\/p>\n
Riyadh Air is wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund and is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
