Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) organised a solidarity walk on Bank Road on the occasion of Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir to reaffirm support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n
A large number of Cantonment Board officers, employees and citizens took part in the walk. It was led by Additional Executive Officer RCB Zia Hussain and Secretary RCB Imran Habib, along with other officers and staff members.<\/p>\n
Participants carried banners and placards inscribed with messages in favour of the Kashmiri people\u2019s right to self-determination. They also raised slogans to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the occasion, Additional Executive Officer Zia Hussain said Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir was observed to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people, support their legitimate right to self-determination and draw global attention to ongoing human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n
He said the people and institutions of Pakistan stood firmly with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters and would continue moral and diplomatic support for their just struggle.<\/p>\n
Zia Hussain further said the Kashmir dispute should be resolved in line with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions.<\/p>\n
The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Kashmiri people and reiterated its commitment to advocating their right to self-determination.<\/p>\n
Later, the Additional Executive Officer and other RCB officers also attended the central Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir ceremony and solidarity walk held at D-Chowk, Islamabad, to reaffirm Pakistan\u2019s continued solidarity with the people of Kashmir.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
