He emphasized the Prophet\u2019s message of mercy, love and tolerance, called for concerted help for flood victims, and expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine and Kashmir while urging international action to end oppression.<\/p>\n
Sadiq described the Prophet\u2019s life as a timeless source of guidance, ethics and compassion, noting that the 1500-year celebration of his message highlights mercy, love and tolerance for all humanity. He said the Prophet transformed ignorance, hatred and injustice into knowledge, justice and tolerance, and that his example offers moral leadership for every era.<\/p>\n
Stressing the importance of moral values in public life, the speaker urged adoption of trustworthiness, integrity, justice and service to others as foundations for a peaceful society. He said Parliament is the focal point of public expectations and that lawmaking should be informed by the principles of the Prophet\u2019s life. Sadiq also called on members of Parliament to set aside political differences and work together to guide the nation.<\/p>\n
Sadiq emphasized the need to acquaint the younger generation with the Prophet\u2019s example, saying that adherence to the Prophet\u2019s exemplary character would help youth develop strong moral character and become custodians of Islamic values. He characterized Eid Milad-un-Nabi as a time for renewal of commitment and self-reflection.<\/p>\n
Highlighting the ongoing humanitarian crisis caused by floods, Sadiq urged that flood-affected communities not be forgotten during the celebrations. He pointed to the widespread loss of homes, livestock and livelihoods and said solidarity and assistance to victims are incumbent on all segments of society. He called on the nation to translate the Prophet\u2019s teachings into concrete support for those in need.<\/p>\n
On international issues, Sadiq expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine and Kashmir and affirmed Pakistan\u2019s strong support for their struggles for freedom. He urged the international community to take effective steps to end injustices in both regions and reiterated Pakistan\u2019s commitment to continue working for peace, justice and human rights.<\/p>\n
