District Population Welfare Officer Muhammad Ayub visited several union councils to review operations and instructed teams to make dengue control activities more effective and faster. His visits focused on improving coordination at the local level and ensuring teams follow operational plans during the intensified campaign.<\/p>\n
Under the special operations, authorities say measures have been accelerated to minimize the risk of a dengue outbreak. The district administration is enforcing standard operating procedures and has warned that heavy fines and police reports will be issued against those who violate regulations. Officials have appealed to residents to cooperate with teams and comply with safety requirements.<\/p>\n
Health officials urged the public to take simple preventive steps at home: clean water-holding containers, tanks, plant pots, coolers and refrigerator trays daily; wear long-sleeved clothing; use mosquito repellent sprays and lotions; sleep under mosquito nets; and fit screens on windows and doors.
