Professor Ahsan Iqbal<\/strong>, speaking at the annual Pasha Awards, reiterated the government\u2019s commitment under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif\u2019s vision to build a strong, export-led digital economy. He said the aim is to transform Pakistan into a one trillion dollar economy by 2035 and highlighted the role of digital sectors in reaching that goal.<\/p>\n The national priorities driving this transition include promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and public-private partnerships, creating new jobs while boosting exports, attracting long-term investment, and building a secure and sustainable digital ecosystem. These priorities are central to expanding Pakistan\u2019s technology base and scaling companies that can compete globally.<\/p>\n Professor Ahsan Iqbal congratulated Pasha, HBL and all award winners for their contributions, noting that their efforts will serve as important milestones in establishing Pakistan as a genuine digital power.
