Inspections were carried out in Morgah, Kalyal and Wazir Town where officials identified dengue hotspot sites and unchecked construction activity posing risks to public safety.<\/p>\n<p>During the field visits, an unauthorised under-construction building in Morgah was sealed and the operation was conducted under the <strong>Punjab Development of Cities Act 1976<\/strong>. Authorities reiterated that construction without NOCs and required approvals will face stringent action and legal consequences.<\/p>\n<p>The DG emphasised that there will be zero tolerance for breaches of dengue standard operating procedures and that public health and safety cannot be compromised. These measures follow directives from the Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, to strengthen preventive actions ahead of potential dengue spread.<\/p>\n<p>Property owners, builders and residents were urged to comply with all approval processes and to implement proper anti-dengue measures on their premises.
