Participants discussed practical measures to integrate gender equality into emergency health operations and service delivery.

By improving gender-responsive planning and strengthening coordination between national and local health actors, the training aims to make emergency health services more accessible and safer for survivors of gender-based violence. Strengthening gender equality within response systems also supports equitable access to care during outbreaks, floods or other crises that affect communities across Pakistan.

WHO and its partners emphasised the importance of sustained attention to gender equality in preparedness and response planning so that health interventions delivered in emergencies are inclusive, effective and lifesaving for those most at risk.

WHO training strengthens gender equality in health emergency response in Pakistan, equipping health partners with gender-responsive analysis and lifesaving GBV interventions.

[94

post-11522","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pakistan
["GET
