Islamabad, September 23, 2025 \u2014 The Ministry of Industries and Production held a formal ceremony today to complete the handover of retrieved state land to the Federal Government.<\/p>\n
On behalf of the federal cabinet, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan<\/strong> received the recovered property from National Accountability Bureau Deputy Chairman Sohail Nasir<\/strong> and Director General NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Farmanullah<\/strong>. The event was attended by Secretary Industries and Production Saif Anjum<\/strong>, NAB representatives and Director General Freedoon Akram Sheikh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Through sustained NAB action, 310 kanals of state land in Haripur, valued at billions of rupees, were recovered and formally transferred to the Federal Government via the Ministry of Industries and Production. The recovered state land represents a significant return of public assets secured through accountability measures.<\/p>\n Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Haroon Akhtar Khan underlined that, in line with directives from Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, protecting national resources is a top government priority.
