Commander Anees Khan (Retd)<\/strong> opened the session, followed by focused presentations from specialists including Dr. Kanwar Javed Iqbal<\/strong> on sustainable fisheries, Dr. Fasiha Safdar<\/strong> on climate change and rising seas, Ms. Neelam Pari<\/strong> on marine pollution, and Ms. Maham Nadeem Malik<\/strong> on youth engagement. Speakers examined practical steps to safeguard marine resources while unlocking economic opportunities for coastal communities.<\/p>\n Chief Guest Mr. Rab Nawaz<\/strong>, Senior Director WWF-Pakistan, emphasized the need for collective action across government, industry and civil society to address threats to the ocean and to realise the benefits of a sustainable blue economy. Commodore Raheel Masood SI(M) (Retd)<\/strong>, Director Projects NIMA, reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s commitment to sustainable maritime development and to integrating resilience measures into planning and projects.<\/p>\n Participants underlined that a coordinated push on policy, pollution control, sustainable fisheries and youth engagement is essential to translate commitments into results.
