The federal health minister welcomed the forum and underlined that cooperation with international partners is essential to strengthen Pakistan&#8217;s health systems.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting focused on improving the use of available financial resources and promoting international cooperation to deliver results. Delegates discussed practical steps to ensure transparent allocation of funds, mechanisms for results-based planning, and ways to mobilise additional support where gaps exist. Strengthening coordination between government agencies and donors was highlighted as a priority for timely health funding.<\/p>\n<p>Public-private partnerships were emphasised as a tool to expand service delivery and improve outcomes in population and reproductive health. Participants explored how clearer funding channels and accountable monitoring can speed implementation of priority programmes and reduce delays in resource disbursement. The need for a shared roadmap to guide donor contributions and national planning received broad support.<\/p>\n<p>Officials agreed to maintain regular engagement to translate commitments into action and to enhance coordination led by the Economic Affairs Division with technical support from development partners such as UNFPA.
