The session set the agenda for diplomatic engagement and operational coordination ahead of the ministerial talks.<\/p>\n<p>The DPM\/FM underscored the centrality of regional connectivity in driving economic growth, enhancing trade flows and strengthening cultural ties, and called for full participation from neighbouring countries. He stressed that improved transport links and shared infrastructure can unlock new commercial opportunities and foster long-term cooperation across the region.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was attended by the Minister of Communications, resident ambassadors from regional states, representatives of international organisations, and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and concerned departments. Participants discussed practical steps to translate political commitments on regional connectivity into coordinated transport initiatives and project implementation.<\/p>\n<p>Senator Dar expressed optimism that the Islamabad conference will catalyse partnerships and accelerate the delivery of cross-border infrastructure and regulatory harmonisation.
