In response to rising heart attack rates among younger people, a well-known cardiologist has urged everyone aged 40 and above to assemble a simple heart safety kit and keep it at home, in the office, the car, a coat pocket or a woman\u2019s handbag.<\/p>\n
The specialist said that sudden central chest tightness or pain that may spread to the left arm or neck, profuse sweating, a yellowish or pale complexion, difficulty breathing, a heavy sensation as if someone is sitting on the chest, or overwhelming anxiety can all be signs of a heart attack. Immediate action can make the difference between life and death.<\/p>\n
For first aid before reaching hospital, the doctor recommended that the affected person should immediately chew and swallow one Disprin tablet, place one Angised tablet under the tongue, and affix a Deponid NTFive skin patch to the left side of the chest inside the shirt. These measures are intended to stabilise the patient during transport to emergency care.<\/p>\n
The cardiologist noted that a ready-made heart safety kit with these items costs only fifty to fifty-five rupees and can be lifesaving when applied promptly. Carrying a heart safety kit is a simple precaution that could prevent a sudden cardiac death while help is on the way.<\/p>\n
