The KIST-Pakistan Alumni Research Symposium gathered researchers and alumni on October 1\u20132, 2025 at USPCAS-E, NUST to strengthen ties around batteries, energy and environment research and to showcase recent advances coming from Pakistan-Korea collaboration.<\/p>\n
Speakers and organisers who guided sessions included Dr. Gul Rahman<\/strong> from the University of Peshawar, Dr. Ahmad Nauman Shah Saqib<\/strong> of the University of Education, Dr. Sheeraz Mehboob<\/strong> representing PINSTECH, Dr. Iqra Moeez<\/strong> from the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim<\/strong> of PAEC and Dr. Ghulam Ali<\/strong> of USPCAS-E, NUST. Their presentations and panel discussions highlighted collaborative priorities and practical research directions for batteries and sustainable energy solutions in the Pakistani context.<\/p>\n A lively poster session gave early-career researchers an opportunity to present applied work and network with senior scientists. Three students were recognised with Best Poster Awards for exceptional contributions: Haseeb Ahmad<\/em>, Urooj Khalid<\/em> and Mehmooda Hamda<\/em>.
