The visit brought the Turkish parliamentary delegation to one of Pakistan&#8217;s most recognisable religious landmarks.<\/p>\n<p>The distinguished guest performed the <em>Maghrib<\/em> prayer inside the mosque and offered special prayers for the development, prosperity and stability of both Pakistan and Turkey as well as for the unity of the Muslim Ummah. The focus on shared hopes for progress and harmony was evident during the brief ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>During his tour of the complex, Speaker Numan Kurtulmus inspected various sections of the mosque and observed Islamic artefacts on display. He also planted a sapling on the mosque\u2019s green lawn as a gesture symbolising growth and enduring friendship.
