ISLAMABAD:<\/strong> In a powerful display of unity and commitment to women\u2019s health, Maroof International Hospital<\/strong>, in collaboration with the Islamabad Marriott Hotel<\/strong>, organized the Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar 2025<\/strong> at the Marriott\u2019s Crystal Ballroom. The event brought together a diverse and influential audience \u2014 including foreign dignitaries, women parliamentarians, doctors, nurses, journalists, students, girl guides, and cancer survivors<\/strong> \u2014 to raise awareness about a disease that affects one in nine women in Pakistan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Chairman Senate, Mr. Yousaf Raza Gilani<\/strong>, presided as Chief Guest<\/strong>, delivering an impassioned keynote address that called for compassion, empowerment, and equitable access to healthcare.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cThis initiative is not just about awareness \u2014 it\u2019s about compassion, empowerment, and access. We must prioritize women\u2019s health at every level of society,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ch. Naseer Ahmad<\/strong>, Chairman of Maroof International Hospital, urged immediate collective action:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe must not allow any woman to suffer in silence. Breast cancer is treatable when caught early. Our responsibility is to raise awareness, eliminate stigma, and ensure access to care for every woman \u2014 regardless of background or income.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Haroon Naseer<\/strong>, CEO of Maroof International Hospital, echoed this urgency:<\/p>\n

A deeply emotional highlight of the event came from Aliya Agha<\/strong>, breast cancer survivor and CEO of Margalla Tribune<\/em>, whose inspiring testimony drew a standing ovation.<\/p>\n
