The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by <strong>Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed<\/strong> and on behalf of NRTC by <strong>Brig (R) Omer Abdul Rasheed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The NRTC delegation included Brig (R) Omer Abdul Rasheed, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed, GM Research &#038; Development, Mr. Ammar Rashad, HoD Export, Mr. Asad Ikram, AVM (R) Consultant R&#038;D, and Col (R) Sana Ullah, Chief Coordination Officer. IIUI participants included Director ORIC Dr Muhammad Aamir, Dr Muhammad Saqlain in-charge Linkages Office and other relevant officials who joined the ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Under the MoU the IIUI NRTC collaboration will focus on joint research and consultancy projects, coordinated intellectual property management and expanded internship and placement pathways for IIUI students. The agreement also provides industrial exposure for faculty, plans for joint research conferences and coordinated proposal submissions for high-end technology development.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed described academia-industry partnerships as a pragmatic and mutually beneficial approach that creates a &#8216;win-win situation&#8217; for both sides. Brig (R) Omer Abdul Rasheed called the MoU a significant step that would &#8216;set new dimensions&#8217; for joint ventures and open doors to cutting-edge research collaborations.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Vice President (R&#038;E), briefed the delegation on the university&#8217;s academic and research profile. AVM Asad Ikram highlighted NRTC&#8217;s recent projects in energy and motorway sectors and outlined the corporation&#8217;s facilities and ongoing international collaborations.
