She highlighted the need for coordinated efforts across institutions and communities to protect children and uphold their rights.<\/p>\n<p>In her remarks the Chairperson NCSW underlined institutional strengthening, policy coherence and transformation of social norms as central pillars to end child marriage. She called for robust legislative measures and consistent legal frameworks across provinces to ensure that protections are enforceable everywhere in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>Azhar emphasized that sustainable progress depends on multi-sectoral coordination and capacity building of law enforcement and child protection systems, so that prevention and response mechanisms work effectively on the ground. Strengthening these systems, she noted, will improve detection, referral and support for affected children and families.<\/p>\n<p>The National Commission on the Status of Women, Islamabad expressed appreciation to partners, organisers and stakeholders for their commitment to children\u2019s rights and gender equality.
