Mrs. Farzhana Naek, Chairperson of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society, briefed His Highness Prince Abdalla Bin Faisal Al Saud of the Saudi Red Crescent on Pakistan’s current humanitarian situation with a special emphasis on health during a virtual meeting linked to his visit to the IFRC Asia Pacific Regional Office in Malaysia from 28 to 30 October 2025.<\/p>\n
The meeting, hosted at the request of IFRC Asia Pacific Regional Director Mr. Alexander Matheou, underscored the evolving humanitarian needs across Pakistan and highlighted PRCS\u2019s ongoing efforts in health service support, disaster response and resilience building.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Naek stressed the need for coordinated action across the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement to strengthen community preparedness, expand health outreach and ensure timely, effective humanitarian action where it is most needed. Emphasis on Pakistan health priorities was presented as central to reducing vulnerability and improving response capacity during crises.<\/p>\n
