The IIUI Selection Board meeting was chaired by <strong>Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed<\/strong>, with <strong>Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed<\/strong>, Vice President (Research and Enterprise), serving as Secretary of the Board.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the board included senior judicial and academic figures who contributed to thorough deliberations, among them <strong>Honourable Justice Syed Muhammad Anwar<\/strong> of the Federal Shariat Court, <strong>Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza<\/strong> of Fatima Jinnah Women University, <strong>Prof. Dr. Sadia Nadeem<\/strong> from FAST School of Management, <strong>Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmed<\/strong> of Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan, and <strong>Prof. Dr. Muhammad Inayatullah Khan<\/strong>, nominee from HEC and Vice Chancellor of UET Taxila.<\/p>\n<p>Deliberations concentrated on cases from the Faculty of Usuluddin, the Faculty of Sciences, and the Faculty of Social Sciences, where the IIUI Selection Board evaluated candidates and procedures to ensure selections aligned with institutional standards. The university leadership underscored implementation of a new strategic plan aimed at strengthening academic excellence and institutional efficiency.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed<\/strong> reiterated that clearing the backlog of pending selection boards is a top priority and made clear that all decisions will be guided by transparency and merit. The message emphasized a commitment to fair, merit-based appointments as part of broader reforms across the university.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed<\/strong> acknowledged the coordination efforts that ensured a smooth meeting, specifically praising <strong>Prof. Dr. Rahmat Ellahi<\/strong>, Director QAD, and <strong>Mr. Ateeq ur Rehman Chughtai<\/strong>, Director HR.
