Inflation showed improvement in the early fiscal months with 4.1%<\/strong> in July and 3.0%<\/strong> in August, before flood-related pressures pushed rates to 5.6%<\/strong> in September and 6.2%<\/strong> in October. The July\u2013October average inflation of 4.7%<\/strong> remains markedly lower than last year\u2019s 8.7%<\/strong>, supporting household purchasing power and macro stability.<\/p>\n Large-scale industry is showing signs of recovery as demand for raw materials and fuel picks up and industrial activity increases, helping protect employment in manufacturing and allied sectors and contributing to the broader Pakistan recovery narrative.<\/p>\n Fiscal performance in the first four months was resilient with the Federal Board of Revenue collecting 3.8 trillion rupees<\/strong>, an increase of 11.4%<\/strong> year-on-year, reinforcing the government’s ability to finance relief and development priorities.<\/p>\n External-facing sectors also strengthened: services exports rose 14.7%<\/strong> to $2.2 billion<\/strong>, led by IT exports which grew 20.5%<\/strong> to $1.1 billion<\/strong>.
