The event prioritised youth sensitisation, lifestyle modification, and early prevention as core elements of diabetes prevention across campus communities.

An advocacy station on campus invited students to record short testimonials describing simple actions they can take to prevent diabetes and why diabetes prevention matters to them and their families. These personal accounts emphasised the practical side of behaviour change and the importance of early awareness among young people, reinforcing the role of everyday choices in reducing diabetes risk.

The recorded youth messages will feed into a wider social media campaign led by the Ministry of Health to promote healthy living and encourage preventive behaviours across Pakistan. By integrating student voices, the diabetes prevention campaign aims to reach diverse audiences and make prevention messages more relatable and actionable at the community level.

The collaboration highlights a focused effort to empower young Pakistanis with knowledge and motivation for healthier lifestyles. Continued engagement on campuses and through national outreach is intended to strengthen diabetes prevention efforts and support early steps toward a healthier future for the next generation.

Youth-led initiative promotes diabetes prevention through lifestyle change and campus testimonials during World Diabetes Day week.

[94

post-14172","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pakistan
["GET
