A new Karachi mural was unveiled at the Arts Council Karachi roundabout in a ceremony attended by city and cultural officials and the artists responsible for the work.<\/p>\n
The event featured Mayor Murtaza Wahab<\/strong> as chief guest, joined by H.E. Alexis Chahtahtinsky<\/strong>, Consul General of France in Karachi; Marc Piton<\/strong>, Counsellor for Cooperation and Cultural Affairs at the Embassy of France; Emmanuel Bruerec<\/strong>, Director of the Alliance Fran\u00e7aise de Karachi; and Muhammad Ahmed Shah<\/strong>, President of the Arts Council Pakistan Karachi, who collectively opened the public artwork.<\/p>\n The mural was created by international and local artists \u2014 Nasty<\/strong> (France), Seth GlobePainter<\/strong> (France), Affan Tariq<\/strong> (Pakistan) and Talal<\/strong> (Pakistan) \u2014 alongside SOVAPA faculty and students. The Karachi mural reflects a collaborative approach that brought together diverse creative voices and institutional support.<\/p>\n The involvement of the French embassy and the Alliance Fran\u00e7aise de Karachi highlighted the cross-border cultural partnership behind the project, while Arts Council Pakistan Karachi provided the public platform for the unveiling.
