The session, facilitated by representatives from <strong>UNFPA<\/strong> and <strong>IPAS<\/strong>, concentrated on finalizing detailed implementation plans for the federating areas (ICT) and on strengthening family planning services across the region.<\/p>\n<p>Participants discussed key interventions and activities designed to support women after childbirth and improve continuity of care. Emphasis was placed on practical measures for service delivery, coordination between federal and local health units, and clear allocation of roles to ensure the Post Pregnancy Family Planning initiatives can be rolled out effectively in the federating areas.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting reaffirmed the Ministry&#8217;s commitment to expanding post-pregnancy family planning services while highlighting the role of the DHO Islamabad in overseeing local implementation.
