The project is intended to provide modern, high-quality medical services and reduce pressure on existing health centres so residents receive timely care.<\/p>\n<p>The authority also decided to relocate large markets, including wholesale fruit and vegetable mandis, transport terminals, educational institutions and industrial units into designated zones along the Ring Road corridor. Officials said the move aims to reduce traffic congestion, curb environmental pollution and relieve the burden on densely populated urban neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kenza Murtaza<\/strong> directed the Engineering Directorate, Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering Directorate, State Management Directorate and Land Development Directorate to identify and allot suitable sites along the Ring Road for these facilities. All transport terminals will be shifted to initial and terminal points that link Ring Road with GT Road and the motorway to improve inter-district and intra-city traffic flow.<\/p>\n<p>Large educational institutions will be moved to purpose-built modern campuses offering better infrastructure and an improved learning environment.
