When the cash was counted it totalled nine lakh rupees.<\/p>\n<p>Displaying clear worker honesty, Nusrat immediately informed her supervisor and delivered the packet to the cleaning company&#8217;s office instead of keeping it. Her prompt action allowed officials to secure the money and begin the process of locating the rightful owner.<\/p>\n<p>The owner was traced in the same locality and explained the bundles had accidentally been thrown out during a house cleaning. After verification, the funds were returned and Nusrat&#8217;s integrity was acknowledged by officials and neighbours alike.<\/p>\n<p>At a ceremony held at the Deputy Commissioner&#8217;s office, the owner presented one lakh rupees as a token of gratitude, the cleaning company awarded one lakh, and the Deputy Commissioner himself gave one lakh in recognition.
