The Annual Meeting and Dinner of Pakistan Medical Association District Kasur took place on Friday 5th December, with Prof Khalid Masood Gondal, President College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan and Vice Chancellor FJMU, attending as the chief guest. The event was organised by Dr Muhammad Khalid, Dr Khurram Shahzad and an organising committee that included Dr Shafiq Shaikh and Dr Abdul Quddus Khokhar.<\/p>\n
The gathering brought together leading figures from the medical community, including Dr Izhar Chaudhary<\/strong>, Central President PMA, Dr Kamran Shaikh<\/strong>, Provincial President PMA, and senior physicians such as Dr Khurshid Ansari, Prof Zaheer the consultant pulmonologist, Prof Abdul Hameed Principal Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Prof Zohra Khanum Principal SIMS, Prof Muhammad Nadeem Registrar FJMU and Dr Amir Salim former MS of SGRH.<\/p>\n The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Dr Izhar Chaudhary<\/strong> and Dr Kamran Shaikh<\/strong> addressed participants, while a welcome message was delivered by Dr Khalid Hussain and the Annual Report was presented by Dr Khurram Shahzad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In his remarks Prof Khalid Masood Gondal praised the Pakistan Medical Association for its services, especially its role in the rehabilitation of flood-affected communities. He underlined that the medical profession offers both worldly and spiritual fulfilment through service to the sick and said he would support efforts to strengthen academic activities in District Kasur.
