The provincial roundtable convened by Peace & Justice Network (PJN) in partnership with the Punjab Women Protection Authority (PWPA) focused on strengthening women protection through integrated response and institutionalization under the AawazII initiative.<\/p>\n
Civil society experts, government representatives and district-level stakeholders exchanged practical recommendations to make the women protection system more responsive and sustainable. Bushra Khaliq<\/strong> (Executive Director, WISE), Nabila Bhatti<\/strong> (Gender and Child Rights Expert) and Ahmar Majeed<\/strong> (Advocate and Human Rights Expert) were among those who presented clear proposals aimed at reinforcing local capacity and coordination.<\/p>\n Speakers emphasized aligning district mechanisms with provincial policy, improving referral pathways, embedding community-led practices into institutional frameworks and ensuring continued support for grassroots AawazII activities.
