Danish Sikandar<\/strong> claimed the boys’ under-15 crown after a commanding straight-games victory over fellow Khyber Pakhtunkhwa player Abdul Hadi Gul, winning 11-6, 11-8, 11-0 in a 17-minute final. The result underlined Danish’s control and tactical accuracy throughout the match.<\/p>\n Mehwish Ali<\/strong>, seeded top in the girls’ under-19 draw, overcame Sindh’s Damiya Khan in a 3-0 final. After a tight opening game that ended 13-11, Mehwish dominated the next two games 11-4 and 11-8 to secure the girls’ title and add another notable achievement for WAPDA in junior squash.<\/p>\n The championship produced memorable matches in younger age groups as well. Pakistan Air Force’s Abdul Rehman Riaz edged departmental teammate Anas Rafi in a dramatic boys’ under-11 final that went the distance, 11-6, 11-8, 8-11, 12-14, 11-6. In the under-9 category, Sindh’s Muhammad Aban defeated M. Bin Naseem 11-7, 11-9, 11-8 to claim the title.<\/p>\n Organised by the Sindh Squash Association, the event concluded at the Venus Jahangir Khan Squash Academy at the PSB Karachi Centre and carried total prize money of Rs 800,000. Each main draw featured 32 players, and all category finals were contested on the concluding day, attracting local interest and providing valuable match experience for Pakistan’s junior players.<\/p>\n The closing ceremony saw Chief Information Officer Abdul Rehman act as chief guest, and trophies and prize money were presented by him alongside Sindh Squash Association President Adnan Asad. Also present were Director Finance Iftikhar Ahmed, Divisional Manager Marketing Muaz Hanif, SSA Secretary Naveed Rehman, Tournament Referee Muhammad Naseem and other officials.
