The meeting set in motion concrete steps to nominate university youth ambassadors who will actively counter polarization, misinformation, disinformation and drug proliferation across Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>Discussions under the YPF Shaoor partnership highlighted the need to strengthen networking forums for emerging youth leaders and to design capacity-building programs for legislators to better engage young constituents. Participants agreed on organising a national dialogue that brings together student representatives, civil society and lawmakers to ensure youth voices shape policy responses.<\/p>\n<p>Public awareness campaigns and an amplified social media strategy are central to the agreed plan, with an emphasis on measurable outreach and community mobilisation. The partners also committed to pursuing legislative interventions where gaps in youth-related laws hinder prevention and rehabilitation efforts, particularly in regions most affected by drug misuse.<\/p>\n<p>Special attention was given to combating dangerous online trends by promoting the ethical use of artificial intelligence and by countering misinformation with fact-based communications. Shaoor Foundation representatives shared tested strategies for skill-building at the grassroots level and proposed innovative community programmes to sustain engagement beyond initial rollouts.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the meeting, YPF and Shaoor emphasised timely implementation, regular monitoring and clear indicators for impact.
