Prominent leaders and media representatives attended the ceremony to offer their sympathies.<\/p>\n<p>Participants included Pakistan Peoples Party leader and former senator Farhatullah Babar, Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists president Afzal Butt, National Press Club president Azhar Jatoi and R.I.U.J. president Tariq Ali Wark. Former R.I.U.J. presidents Mubarak Zeb Khan and Aamer Sajjad Syed were present along with NPC joint secretary Javid Bhagat, Syed Aun Shirazi and a large number of senior journalists and friends from across the capital.<\/p>\n<p>Speakers expressed deep condolences to Alamdar Baloch and his family, emphasising that parents are an invaluable gift and that their loss brings profound sorrow.
