The event drew a large gathering of party leaders and workers who joined to remember her life and service to the nation.<\/p>\n<p>Participants paid heartfelt tribute to the services of the martyred <strong>Benazir Bhutto<\/strong>, describing her as an enduring symbol of political acumen, courage and resilience. They recalled her role as the first elected female prime minister in the Muslim world and her lasting contribution to democracy, public rights and women&#8217;s representation.<\/p>\n<p>Speakers at the gathering emphasised Benazir Bhutto&#8217;s sacrifices for democratic rule, noting that despite exile, imprisonment and personal hardship she did not waver in her commitment to the constitution, parliament and the people&#8217;s right to govern. Many said she kept the flame of democracy alive during periods of dictatorship.<\/p>\n<p>Attention to health, education and social welfare during her tenure was highlighted, along with her persistent advocacy for the rights of women and minorities. Attendees also remembered her efforts to project a moderate and responsible image of Pakistan internationally and to strengthen the country&#8217;s diplomatic standing.<\/p>\n<p>Encouraging youth engagement and expanding women&#8217;s participation in politics were cited as central priorities of her leadership.
