Reza Amiri Moghaddam<\/strong>, the Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan, stressed the need to deepen cooperation with Pakistan across media, culture and people-to-people exchanges during his visit to Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation Islamabad. The envoy highlighted that Iran Pakistan media links offer significant scope for joint initiatives and wider public engagement.<\/p>\n

Speaking with Director General Radio Pakistan Saeed Ahmed Shaikh<\/strong>, the ambassador described Pakistan and Iran as brotherly nations bound by shared history, culture and religion. He expressed appreciation for the diplomatic support extended by Pakistan during the twelve-day Iran-Israel conflict in June, thanking Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the government for their solidarity with the Iranian people in testing times.<\/p>\n

The two sides underlined the potential for enhanced collaboration in broadcasting and high-level exchanges. The ambassador encouraged both countries to tap into this potential to promote cultural diplomacy and greater media cooperation, noting that strengthened Iran Pakistan media ties could benefit audiences and institutions on both sides of the border.<\/p>\n

To advance these plans, Ambassador Moghaddam invited the Director General of Radio Pakistan to visit Iran for mutual consultations aimed at formalising media partnerships and expanding bilateral exchanges.
