The ceremony was hosted by Vice-Chancellor University of Agriculture Faisalabad <strong>Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali<\/strong> and attended by Vice-Chancellor PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi <strong>Prof. Dr. Qamar Zaman<\/strong>, underscoring a collaborative academic effort to advance sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n<p>The Biogas Plant is presented as a practical demonstration of how dairy waste can be converted into renewable energy to support campus needs and nearby communities. By integrating research, training and on-site demonstration, the facility will help students and local farmers explore cleaner fuel options while reducing organic waste and methane emissions.<\/p>\n<p>Support from the Punjab Higher Education Commission highlights policy-level interest in scalable sustainability projects. The plant strengthens UAF\u2019s focus on innovation and community service by offering a working model for climate resilience and sustainable agricultural practice in Punjab\u2019s livestock sector.<\/p>\n<p>As a capacity-building and outreach resource, the Biogas Plant aims to promote wider adoption of clean energy technologies across the province.
