After four years of partnership with UNHCR, KOICA Pakistan has wrapped up a programme that has strengthened essential services for Afghan refugees and their host communities across the country. The systems put in place are designed to continue delivering benefits well beyond the project timeline, supporting local resilience and wellbeing.<\/p>\n
The collaboration focused on improving access to clean water, expanding healthcare services and enhancing educational opportunities. By building durable water supply points, supporting primary healthcare outreach and bolstering school-based support, KOICA Pakistan helped create practical systems that respond to daily needs in refugee hosting areas.<\/p>\n
Local communities and refugee families have seen improvements in living conditions and service availability as a result of this work. The partnership with UNHCR emphasised sustainability so that the infrastructures and processes established will remain operational and continue to serve people in Pakistan.<\/p>\n
