The Higher Education Commission’s Quality Assurance Agency successfully conducted the RIPE review at Capital University of Science & Technology Islamabad from 2\u20134 February 2026 under the Pakistan Precepts Standards and Guidelines PSG-2023 framework, reinforcing internal quality assurance through an external quality assurance process.<\/p>\n
The EQA pilot initiative was undertaken under the guidance of Director General of Quality Assurance Mr. Nasir Shah<\/strong>. The on-site review was led by Dr. Najam-ul-Islam<\/strong>, Rector of Namal University, and supported by a panel of experienced academicians. From the QAA team, Mr. Irfan Ullah<\/strong>, Director QAA, and Mr. Muhammad Raza<\/strong>, Deputy Director, were actively involved in the assessment.<\/p>\n Throughout the visit the review team held interactive sessions with students and faculty to capture perspectives on academic quality, teaching practices and support services. The delegation visited multiple departments, laboratories and campus facilities to obtain first-hand insight into infrastructure, research initiatives and the overall learning environment. Observations from these engagements contributed directly to the RIPE review of institutional effectiveness and the university’s student-centric approach to quality enhancement.<\/p>\n The RIPE review follows a comprehensive framework of 16 standards designed to strengthen strategic planning, academic quality and institutional development.
