The Innovation, Learning and Engagement Arena at the Pakistan Sports Complex drew thousands of students, entrepreneurs, developers and tech enthusiasts to Islamabad, becoming the public centerpiece of Indus AI Week. Over two days the Arena hosted more than 40 specialist events and welcomed global pioneers alongside Pakistan’s leading innovators to showcase an accelerating AI ecosystem.<\/p>\n
Eleven thematic pavilions framed focused activity across technology, government transformation, immersive systems, industry partnerships and inclusion. The Technology and Innovation Hub served as the technical nucleus with an AI Startup Showcase that connected developers to international mentors and investors, while the GovTech and DefenceTech Pavilion highlighted ongoing AI deployments across federal services.<\/p>\n
Visitors experienced autonomous systems and immersive demonstrations in the AR\/VR and Robotics Showcase, and industry leaders used the Industry Expo and Expert Talks to demonstrate live enterprise AI applications. The Arena\u2019s programming included the URAAN AI Techathon addressing national challenges and the AI for HER Pavilion which promoted gender-inclusive innovation with panels, workshops and female-led startup showcases.<\/p>\n
Skills development was a centrepiece: the National AI Training Bootcamp delivered intensive technical training to more than 1,900<\/strong> participants. Competitive elements included the Indus eSports Championship with a PKR 4.5 million<\/strong> prize pool, the AI Wrapper Competition where AxonEstate won top honours, and a 48-hour<\/strong> GAME JAM that pushed creative endurance.<\/p>\n Startups gained practical support through the Cloud Credit Sprint, awarding performance-based cloud credits to high-potential ventures to help scale real-world solutions.
