The discussion focused on improving coordination so private sector institutions can play a fuller role in upcoming campaigns.<\/p>\n<p>The IRD team drew attention to an operational challenge: limited participation and compliance from many private schools in Islamabad has left gaps in coverage of school-aged children. These coverage gaps undermine the broader Pakistan Deworming effort, which relies on strong uptake across both public and private education sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman PEIRA acknowledged the importance of the campaign for child health and learning and pledged that PEIRA will facilitate measures to encourage better engagement from private educational institutions. Both organisations agreed to organise a series of meetings and orientation sessions with private school administrations in the coming months to raise awareness and build compliance for Islamabad Deworming activities.<\/p>\n<p>Enhanced collaboration between PEIRA and IRD is expected to increase coverage of the Islamabad Deworming initiative by ensuring private schools are actively involved in delivery and reporting.
